Paper Tiger
Written by: Lisa Sniderman/Aoede
Under the indigo light
You’re dressed in black
Leather boots and a leather jacket
Like a cat-burglar on the attack-
But you’re a paper tiger
You’re a paper tigerUnder the indigo light
You’re larger than life
Wicked eyes and a wicked smile
A predator about to strike-
But you’re a paper tiger
You’re a paper tiger
You’re screaming out war but dreaming of oceans
You’re screaming out hate but dreaming of oceans
You’re screaming out vengeance but dreaming of oceans
You’re screaming white light but dreaming of oceans
You’re screaming more lies but dreaming of oceans
You’re screaming out justice but dreaming of oceans
Born into a rough life
You keep up your guard
Warrior arms and warrior scars
A panther painted in camouflage-
But you’re a paper tiger
You’re a paper tiger
You’re a paper tiger
You’re a paper tiger
